Trading cards with the absolutely perfect rating of 10.0 receive a Black Label with the additional GOLD CERTIFICATED . Our logo on the front is replaced by the "Gold Standard Certificate of 10". This means that the exceptional quality feature of your collector's item is visible at first glance.
The grading scale is intended as a guide only. Defects listed may also fall into another category if the entire card is in a correspondingly better or worse condition.

perfect for naked eye - no defects visible to the naked eye
9.0 MINT
nearly perfect - no surface defects, bends, wrinkles or stains, sharp and clear corners, centering almost perfect
8.5 - 8.0 NEAR MINT - MINT
mint for naked eye - minimal signs of wear, no surface defects, relatively sharp and clear corners, no wrinkles or stains, minimal deviation of centering, minimal bending possible
7.5 - 7.0 NEAR MINT
look new for the first glance - slightly blurred corners, small color or printing errors, slight to medium deviation of centering
6.5 - 6.0 EXCELLENT - MINT
mostly vintage - slight blurring in the image, slightly distorted cut, slightly blurred corners, color and printing errors, medium deviation of centering
5.5 - 5.0 EXCELLENT
common vintage - corners have slight rounding, surface gloss and surface finish are impaired, medium deviation of centering
4.5 - 4.0 VERY GOOD - EXCELLENT
show wear - corners show signs of wear, major printing problems, slight creases on the edge, slight creases or folds on the back
3.5 - 3.0 VERY GOOD
moderate wear - corners may be rounded, heavy creases, stains or creases, if everything else is perfect then this is the highest rating for cards with creases
2.5 - 2.0 GOOD
significant Problems - rounded corners, slight cracks on the edges, adhesive residue, several folds, very heavy wear
1.5 - 1.0 POOR
significant problems - significant problems, heavy wear, creases, pinholes, small tears, paper loss, manual repairs, adhesive strips
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
OC - OFFCENTER
Offcenter is the term used to describe cards that do not meet the regular centering characteristics or deviate too much from them. The addition "OC" appears under the regular grading grade and in the subgrades in the Centering category.
MP - MISPRINT
Misprints are cards that do not meet the regular structure of the surface or deviate too much from it. This must be due to production. The addition "MP" appears under the regular grading note as well as for the subgrades in the Surface category.
MC - MISCUT
Miscuts are cards that do not meet the regular structure when cut or deviate too much from it. This must be due to production. The addition "MC" appears under the regular grading note and for the subgrades in the relevant category.
ALTERNATIVE NAMES
AUTHENTIC
Authentic cards are those that cannot be graded due to their properties or cards that are to be sealed and protected in a GS grading case without being graded. Instead of the regular grading grade, the word "AUTHENTIC" appears on the front of the label.
CUSTOM
Custom is the term used to describe cards that can no longer be graded due to their individually modified nature, or cards that were created by the customer or produced by an unauthorized company. Instead of the regular grading note, the word "CUSTOM" appears on the front of the label.
